During the recent years JINJ has been paying special attention to the education and training of specialists in water sector.
The major part of JINJ’s staff has taken part in different national and international training courses and seminars, and since 2001 JINJ has organized and implemented training courses both for its and other organizations’ specialists, young specialists, as well as for students.
JINJ by its specialists’ strength organized training courses on Mike Basin software for the students of 2001, and on ArcView GIS software program for the specialists of Water Resources Management Agency in May, 2004.
With the support of Canadian CESO organization in August 2004 JINJ with help of an invited specialist from Canada and its specialists, JINJ held training courses on the study of wastewater treatment methods for the sector’s specialists. During the courses a special attention was paid to the presentation of household wastewater treatment eco-technologies.
In October-November 2004 the specialists of JINJ implemented seminars on skills of integrated water resources management for staffs of Northern and Sevan-Hrazdan river basin management authorities and other stakeholders.
Since 2003 JINJ has periodically has been periodically implementing training seminars-meetings on water supply, wastewater, water resources management, environmental protection and management, as well as other urgent subjects of the sector with the help of its own or invited specialists, where the various sectors’ stakeholders have participated.
